Michelle Williams started her dance training at age fourteen, a late age for a ballerina. After her first ballet class she was hooked! She took every class she could in every dance style available in the Covina area, even if it meant being enrolled at several different studios at once. Ballet was always her favorite and ended up at Inland Pacific Ballet for the last two years of high school after receiving a summer study scholarship from Charter Oak High School. Ms. Michelle went on to study dance at University of California Riverside and graduated with a BA in 2012. After graduating, Ms. Michelle explored another area of interest: makeup artistry. However she felt her true calling was dance. Ms. Michelle started teaching at Perfect Pointe in January 2014 and has enjoyed learning from all the other Perfect Pointe teachers as well as teaching Baby Ballet and Preprimary. She plans to continue improving and growing as a dancer and learning the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus to become a RAD certified teacher.

By age 9, Michelle started to compete in dance competitions. She started to assist her dance teacher’s when she was 16 and started to teach a few of her own classes the following year. Michelle continued to dance through college, but received her Bachelor’s degree in finance from Cal Poly Pomona. Along with teaching at local dance studios, she joined the Walt Disney Co. in Disney’s Electrical Parade as a parade performer and went on to work in the Entertainment Scheduling Office until her oldest daughter came along. Michelle has taught jazz, tap, ballet, hip hop, and has choreographed for numerous competition teams.
